SBJJA Mission Statement
SBJJA raising up a team of warriors ready for battle against any circumstance whether it be spiritual, physical or mental.
Our goal is to provide fellowship while developing trust and friendship and being part of a family.
We accept everyone for who they are and do not tolerate any ”tough guy” attitudes.
We believe in praising and encouraging as opposed to tearing down as we train, provide an atmosphere of caring and acceptance where people can let their guard down, be honest with each other and develop the mind of a warrior to conquer daily trials as a team.
SBJJA is not about one person being the focus but everyone having a fair chance to belong and be a part of a team.
Our desire is that we would cultivate a strong foundation based on godly principles in everyone that comes to the academy. ”just as you want others to do for you, do the same for them”.
We want to impact others lives by accepting and loving them for who they are.
Success is having a strong leader but also creating those that come to the academy to become leaders.
Our goal competitively is to train everyone to be involved in tournaments and competitions so sbjja can represent an academy with high moral standards that train hard and also care about those around us.
We believe that all men have equal value.
We do not tolerate criminal behaviour or drug abuse.
